From 985 USD P.P
Located in the serene southwest region of Kenya, enveloping an expansive area of 1,510 square kilometers (583 square miles), the Masai Mara National Reserve unveils a realm of awe-inspiring panoramas, teeming wildlife, and unending grasslands.
The essence of an African Rural Safari flourishes within the Masai Mara, offering a plethora of attractions. The reserve boasts an exceptional year-round concentration of wildlife, including the mesmerizing spectacle of over two million wildebeest, zebras, and assorted antelopes that compose the renowned Great Migration. African Rural Safaris proudly owns two lodges within the heart of Masai Mara: the Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp and Bateleur Camp.
A haven for photographers and nature enthusiasts, this reserve resonates with an abundance of life. The landscape thrives with elephants, buffaloes, graceful giraffes, mighty lions, and swift cheetahs, coexisting harmoniously with the migratory wildebeest and zebras. Enigmatic leopards frequently grace the scene, while the elusive black rhino takes refuge within the dense thickets. The Mara River hosts a vibrant community, with rafts of hippos and colossal crocodiles reigning supreme. The reserve's avian diversity thrives too, offering sanctuary to over 450 bird species.
