Amboseli is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, and a diverse array of bird species. The park's wetlands and swamps attract a high concentration of wildlife, especially during the dry season.
Amboseli is particularly famous for its large elephant herds.
