The three-day wildlife safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda provides you with the chance to explore Uganda's second-largest national park. This park is not only a world biosphere reserve but also holds the status of being a Ramsar wetland site.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of Uganda's most renowned and diverse national parks. Located in the southwestern part of the country, it covers an area of about 1,978 square kilometers (764 square miles) and is known for its remarkable biodiversity and stunning landscapes.
Visitors can enjoy boat safaris on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. These cruises offer exceptional opportunities to observe wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds. The park is dotted with numerous volcanic crater lakes, creating a picturesque landscape. Some of these lakes are saline and provide habitat for unique bird species.
ITINERARY
- Day 1
Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park after an early morning breakfast from your hotel. Enjoy a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National park fronted by the green vegetation in country side, tea plantations and ranges of mountain Rwenzori when going through Fort portal and Kasese.
On arrival in Queen Elizabeth national park you will check into your lodge for relaxation dinner and overnight.

- Day 2
After breakfast, at 6.00am you will embark on a game drive to the northern sector of the queen Elizabeth national park through the Kasenyi track in search for buffaloes, lions, hyenas, water bucks, bush bucks, Uganda Kobs plus many bird species e.g. marabou stock, ibis, vultures.
The afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel is the highlight of your safari. Here you will have the opportunity to view great numbers of wildlife e.g. elephants monitor lizards, crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes and large numbers of birds e.g. eagles, kingfishers sparrow, the doves, weaver birds, eaglet and sun birds converging at the channel waters to enjoy a sip of the natural waters. You will also have a chance to reach the Uganda Congo border while on your cruise. After boat trip you will return to your lodge for rest.

- Day 3
After an early morning breakfast you will begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe
